The collection consists chiefly of architectural renderings, drawings, sketches, and blueprints from the office of William B. Dew., Jr. Also present are Dew's project log book; a firm profile book for Fairfax and Sammons, Architects; photographs and slides of drawings of Tudor perspectives; and specifications for both original residences and buildings or alterations and additions to buildings already in existence. These include project specifications for Charles R. Aiken, Thomas M. Bancroft, Branch Office Building for 50 South Cameron Street, Middleburg, Virginia, Marie A. Moore, New Piedmont Fruit Research Laboratory, Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Hubert Phipps, William M. Scranton and Frank White.
